Geospatial sales representative

Precision Midwest is looking for a new addition to the team in the area of advanced technology solutions in the Land Surveying, Engineering and Construction market of Northern IL. Our current customer base sees us as a source of deep knowledge and as a solution consultant for Trimble and Spectra Precision hardware and software . Being the official Trimble partner in Northern Il , we are known as the experts in survey solutions; a candidate to this position must be ready to support this image.

We prefer some experience within the survey industry, but a person must be ready and willing to learn. A good personality and a distinct drive will allow you to be successful in this position.
Compensation:

This position includes a salary + comission pay structure, 401K, full health insurance (dental + vision), paid vacation, work expenses covered.

Responsibilities:
-“Get the sale” using various sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc)
-Forecast sales, develop sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
-Evaluate customers needs and build productive long lasting relationships
-Meet personal and team sales targets
-Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
-Attend meeting, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
-Report and provide feedback to management using a CRM database
-Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory

Requirements:
-Familiarity with Trimble GPS and Robotic total stations
-Computer use competency
-Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
-Self motivated and driven
-High School Diploma
